Sriracha Comeback Sauce will be your new favorite dipping sauce. Perfect for fries, chicken, shrimp, burgers and more!
Sometimes when I head into the kitchen and I’m starving I can come up with something really good, even if I didn’t have a plan. This Sriracha Comeback Sauce is a fine example of that. I was actually heating up some leftover breaded shrimp and I thought I needed something to dip it in.
I got pretty good at making traditional cocktail sauce at the restaurant my folks owned when I was a teenager, but it has so much ketchup that it’s not really my favorite. I don’t really like ketchup, that’s why I created my own barbecue sauce, fries need sauce!
Anyway, this sauce is so good that I have made it about 5 times in the past few weeks, in fact I made another batch just yesterday. It is so good on EVERYTHING! And now that I think about it, I must make fish tacos, it would be awesome with fish tacos.
It’s super easy, stir it together in about 2 minutes and you are in dipping sauce heaven. The Sriracha adds a little spicy kick but don’t be afraid, it’s not too spicy. I can’t handle anything very spicy.
I’ve been a total slacker about sharing recipes around here. I’ve been feeling like Bill Cosby’s mom lately. You know “Sick and Tired” that’s one of my all time favorite Bill Cosby stand-up routines. If you haven’t seen it, look it up you will laugh, especially if you have kids.
I’ve had the worst head cold and I’m almost over it plus lots of work, work, work, which is a good thing. I have more deliciousness to share, I just need to add a few more minutes in my day to get it done. Until then, make this sauce! You must, MUST! It’s so good!
